At SageIQ Bio, we don’t just provide consulting and contract work, we actively engage in independent research at the intersection of computational biology, data science, and bioinformatics. By leveraging publicly available molecular and clinical datasets, we aim to develop new methods, generate insights, and build resources that advance biomedical science. Amassing our own internal data and computational resources allows us to assist our research partners by providing well characterized and normalized molecular and clinical data that's readily available for interrogation along with their internal data.
All research outputs we generate independently, including code, workflows, repositories, and curated data stores, will always be released openly in alignment with our commitment to open science. We believe that transparency, reproducibility, and accessibility accelerate progress for the entire research community.
At the same time, we recognize that many of our clients are working in highly competitive and sensitive areas. While we encourage openness whenever possible, we fully respect the necessity of keeping data and methods proprietary to protect intellectual property, ensure a commercial edge, or safeguard unpublished findings. SageIQ Bio always follows best practices for data confidentiality, security, and ethical stewardship when collaborating on client projects.
